Abroad Connection is an education and visa consultancy in Pakistan. Our website is abroadcc.info. This Privacy Policy explains our handling of personal information submitted through the website, forms, email, phone, WhatsApp or in-office consultations.

2. Information we may collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• name, phone number, email address and contact preferences;
• destination country, intended intake, study level, academic background, grades, qualification, field of study, graduation year and study gap;
• English-language test information, budget and other profile details you voluntarily provide;
• copies or details from academic, identity, admission, financial or visa documents when you ask us to review or assist with a case;
• messages, consultation notes and correspondence;
• technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, security logs and basic website usage information generated by our hosting, security or website systems.

3. How we use information

We may use your information to respond to enquiries; assess your profile; shortlist institutions, programmes or destinations; assist with applications and documentation; provide language-course or test-preparation information; communicate about your case; prevent fraud or misuse; improve our services; keep necessary business records; and comply with applicable legal obligations.

4. Legal bases where applicable

Where a data-protection framework requires a legal basis, we may rely on your consent, steps requested before entering a service arrangement, performance of a contract, legitimate business interests such as security and service improvement, or compliance with legal obligations. Pakistan currently has relevant electronic and cyber laws, while the Ministry of IT & Telecommunication has also published draft personal-data legislation; we therefore follow privacy-by-design principles and will update this policy as applicable law develops.

5. Sensitive documents

Education and visa files can contain sensitive personal and financial information. Please send only documents genuinely required for your enquiry or service. Do not send passwords, PINs, one-time codes or unnecessary banking credentials. We may request redacted versions where full data is not required.

6. Sharing information

We may share relevant information only when reasonably necessary with service providers, universities or education providers, application platforms, visa/application centres, insurers, accommodation or other third parties involved in a service you request, subject to your instructions and the requirements of the relevant process. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect legitimate legal or security interests.

Third-party organisations process information under their own privacy terms. For example, when you choose to contact us through WhatsApp, Meta/WhatsApp may process information under its own policies.

7. International transfers

Study-abroad and visa services inherently involve organisations outside Pakistan. If you ask us to assist with an overseas application, relevant data may be transferred to or accessed by institutions, application platforms or authorities in other countries. Their privacy rules may differ from Pakistan's.

8. Data retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, service, follow-up, accounting, dispute prevention, legal compliance and legitimate business records. Retention periods can differ depending on the nature of the document and service. We may securely delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed.
