Malaysia can be an accessible bachelor destination for Pakistani students who have completed Intermediate/HSSC, FSc, ICS, ICom, FA or A Levels. The exact entry requirement depends on the university and programme.
What universities usually check
- Completed 12-year school qualification or accepted equivalent.
- Overall grades/percentage.
- Required subjects for the degree.
- English-language evidence.
- Passport and certified academic documents.
FSc/ICS/ICom vs A Levels
Both Pakistani board qualifications and A Levels can be considered, but universities may map them differently. Engineering and computing programmes often pay close attention to mathematics and science subjects, while business programmes may use broader subject combinations.
English requirements
EMGS lists accepted Student Pass English tests including IELTS, TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic, Cambridge English/Linguaskill, MUET and several other approved options. The university still sets the score needed for admission.
Public vs private universities
Malaysia has public universities, private universities and branch campuses of international institutions. Compare tuition, programme recognition, intake dates, campus location and support for international students.
Before paying a deposit
Confirm the exact award, programme duration, English condition, refund policy and Student Pass process. Do not rely only on screenshots or an agent’s verbal assurance.
