Pakistani students can apply for bachelor’s studies in Sweden after completing a recognised Intermediate/HSSC qualification, subject to general and programme-specific entry requirements.
What documents are needed?
University Admissions Sweden requires official upper-secondary certificates and marks documents. For Pakistani Intermediate/HSSC documents, the current country instructions require IBCC verification/attestation, with the verification details clearly visible.
English requirement
Pakistani upper-secondary English does not by itself meet Sweden’s English requirement. Applicants normally need to demonstrate English proficiency through an internationally approved test or another accepted route.
Mathematics requirement
Sweden has a general mathematics requirement for many bachelor’s applicants, and programmes can also impose higher specific mathematics or science prerequisites. Check the exact course page before applying.
How applications work
International applications are generally handled through Universityadmissions.se. The first international admissions round is usually the best option for non-EU students because it gives more time for tuition payment, residence-permit processing and housing.
Do A Levels work?
International qualifications such as A Levels can also be assessed for Swedish bachelor admission, but the exact equivalency and subject requirements depend on the qualification and programme. Follow the country instructions relevant to where your qualification was issued.
